To die alone is tragic. To die on accident is unfortunate. To die charging head first is stupid.
These pale, if one were to die without a legacy. To do so would be without honour, glory, worth.
I pray, as I die, as the flames engulf my body, those who watch burn the image into their minds, and that the cinders never become ash, for to become ash is to relinquish power to resist time and history, yet with pitiful embers I may fight an unsurmountable foe, tragic, unfortunate and stupid, yet honourable, glorious, worth it.
This is the death I yearn for.
