Lucy That is B-[c]ore-bot, or in short "Bore bot. I built it myself.

Lucy Yeah you see, I'm kind of a mechanic when I'm not working here.

Lucy What is that supposed to mean?

Liam Ah sorry... I guess after seeing you the other day i thought...

Lucy You thought I must be way too clumsy to do anything that requires some sort of coordination?

Liam I... I'm sorry...

Lucy Hmpfh. Well I'm pretty good if I may say so myself. Just because I run into people from time to time doesn't mean I don't know how to handle a machine. But whatever...

Liam Hey... I already said I'm sorry... Well anyway, what does this little robot do and what's with the weird name?

Lucy Well to be honest this is one of quite a few models I built in the past. I have a second, way newer one actually, but... this one is kinda special...

Liam Special?

Lucy Well this is the second one I built. The first one was a complete disaster and didn't work at all. It couldn't even walk. This one on the other hand, did work and do most of the things I wanted it to do right from the get go... Except, well... you witnessed it yourself, it's not even close to perfect. This model falls down a lot, makes my coffee way too bitter sometimes and on top of that is kind of sarcastic.

Liam Sarcastic?

Lucy Yeah... I have no idea how or why and all the commands that use my voice recognition work just as intended, but... well... This robot is really talkative for some reason... and it even talks back to me...

Liam A Robot?

Lucy I know it sounds weird but... it's the truth. It's the reason I can't scrap it and build something new with it's parts... Also I have this feeling... Like it reminds me of something... ... Ah sorry I'm drifting away with my thoughts a bit... Anyway the name is based on the core I installed inside of it. It's an old generation of energycores called "Beta-cores". So the full name of this robot would be Beta-core-bot. But since I absolutely don't want to say that every time I give a command I remaned it into "B-[c]ore-bot" for commands and in even shorter "Bore-bot" when adressed casually. It actually kind of fits it's... well... personality if I may say so. It often gives off the impression to be bored... haha ... you're not buying this, are you?

Liam Ah no no no, that's not it at all. I'm just... fascinated... you see, my father was a mechanic. So I learned a thing or two from him. May I have a closer look?

Lucy I'm really sorry but I'm actually supposed to transport stuff in like 5 minutes. So I really need to hurry and leave...

Liam Ah that's a shame...

Lucy hmmmm... Ok! I have an idea. How about you come visit me at my workshop tomorrow and you can look at it all you want. I can even demonstrate to you how it works!
