Lately Sir Gallahad's mental stability has gotten very worrysome. I've been working in this mansion for many years now and he has always been kind to me. He used to constantly talk about his wife aswell. The research he's been conducting, I always felt like it was for her sake. That's what he always told me. This legend he kept talking about... I don't know if it's true or not. But he always wanted to know what started the war. The Government has many ways of telling lies. He doesn't believe a thing they say. I trust him. He worked for them for a long time and left because he couldn't stand how they manipulated honest people and their families. He didn't want to have any part in it anymore. He's a good man. I know that. And yet... I feel like since he found this cursed ball, his whole deamanor completely changed. He rarely leaves his room, and is very irritable. He doesn't speak a word if he doesn't have to... And his eyes. Something in them changed. He always had very friendly looking eyes. But now, sometimes I feel like it's not even him who I'm talking to. Just today I had a similar experience. I want him to be happy so I tried to convince him to take a break. But he didn't even let me finish. As soon as I spoke of this stupid metal ball he became really angry. He talked to me in such a disrespectful manner... I felt really sad. I know something is wrong, so I don't really blame him. I feel like something has consumed him... This ball... Something about it is not right. I know his mental state is getting worse by the day. I have to do something...
