My entry for CCC 07.

Cytoid has grown a lot since its release. This doesn't just apply to the updates Tiger gives us to enhance the player experience, or the gradually growing playerbase. It's the charts that have been released, and the improvement that comes with time and practice. We were pretty confined at first, following Rayark's guidelines to the figurative letter, and choosing songs that would have been popular with anyone who's played a rhythm game. We've changed since then, and this contest aims to prove it. We aren't just a Cytus simulator. Not all our charts are the same. We can do more than use the popular rhythm game song of the month. Hell, you can be unique by [following Rayark's standards](https://cytoid.io/browse/lumixanth.mylifeisforyou) or [making it your own](https://cytoid.io/browse/cthulol.lightitup). All of us take something from another and innovate off of it; that's the beauty of a community game. Just look at Osu! - it started as a clone of another game, but with enough courage to make something entirely different, and by taking inspiration from the creations of others, it's what it has become today, completely unrecognizable from its source. Imagine what we would look like in another year - there will always be something new on the horizon. The future of Cytoid is ours. We just have to find our way there.
