Chapter 12/12

Embittered and furious, I turn my back on Earth. The truth - I must know. The corps - they must fall. I declared war on Spirit, Fukuda, Worldbit, Bryzgalov, and dozens other megacorps that squeeze out what little humanity has left in the name of profit - a war that is unholy, terrible, shameful.

Corpses litter the deck - both corpos and rebels. Before the mainframe, their bodies lie silently, flesh crushed and metal mangled with bullets and blades, evidence of our transgressions against humanity itself in a totally unnecessary war. Through pulverised lips and severed necks, they render biting judgment.

Destroying the Lunar Archives and returning its imprisoned memories to their rightful owners will cause another war with me as its leader. But if I don’t, the thirteen zealots behind me will make me its martyr.

And so with my own trembling hands I plunge humanity into a dark age of endless war.

Nothing will stand - nothing will be left. May I be never forgiven for my sins.
