• Okay so I was originally gonna put a joke about jan misali and how I was so indecisive about either putting it as DJ Speedycake, Vasco & Millboy, or the Caramella Girls, but then I realized the video I wanted to link to was taken down... ;-;

Lenz Heights, a rural community in the north, is home to around nine thousand residents. While it’s a stunning town in its own right, with its sprawling woodlands attracting many wildlife photographers throughout the year, Lenz Heights making headlines is rarer than anglerfish between the trees.

This year, however, Lenz Heights has attracted widespread media attention for its week-long music festival themed around Christmas where party-goers are provided with frequent festive refreshments. Featured music artists include Caramel Rave, who has taken the opportunity to debut their latest Christmas album. Additional activities include carnival games and a raffle, with 90% of its proceeds donated to Graham’s Project, an LGBT charity dedicated to providing support to troubled LGBT youth through hotlines, outreach and volunteering programmes.

Some participants criticise the festival for restricting alcohol sales, but Jude Callaghan, spokesperson on behalf of the planning committee, claims this measure is to “reduce incidents as a result of intoxication [and] improve safety”. Callaghan also advises that participants should celebrate with civility and follow guidelines.
