Something Comforting X Tell Your World

The sounds of the festival was a bit loud to Tony.

It's not like he couldn't handle noise, in fact, the atmosphere of all of the lights and attractions and food would usually entice and excite him, but... something was different about it.

He wasn't doing it because he had to anymore. He did it out of his own will.

It felt odd to not put on a facade of having fun, muting the voices of the many people who run by him, the crowds, the preference t run off and hide somewhere silently... well okay that last part he still wanted to do, but still.

It was his first time ever listening to the crowd. And it's all because...

He caved in and tried to find someplace out of the bright lights and roaring crowds. Even he had a limit to how much his social battery could withstand. But the non-silence was oddly liberating... for the first time in a long while.

Tony eventually got up to a railing near a park by a lakeside, checking the time on his phone to see when the fireworks would come...

Ah... two minutes left. I wonder how they'd look this time...?

As he mulled over his thoughts, he sensed someone coming... it wasn't anyone he felt was threatening, since he has had this feeling thousands of times before.

And the hug confirms it.

"Ponk!" Course you'd be here... "I mean where else would ya be? Not like you're gonna be downing beers at the festival like on a Thursday night." Oh, shut it.

Tony playfully shoves Kayla over to the side. As soon as he does, the fireworks start blasting. It was a bedazzle of colors, and yet with Kayla at his side, it felt...

Comforting.

God this year was a fucking mess, ain't it? "Ehhh, sure it may have been a bad year, but it wasn’t that bad." Yeah... especially with... you at my side. Heh...

Tony blushes, but he refuses to show it.
